The snowmobile trails in Vilas County officially opened yesterday morning! We are already beginning to see riders take advantage of them. The local trail reports are stating that the trails are still in early riding season condition. The trails have been groomed and are great in most areas, yet some areas may be icy and some may be rough. We do need some more snow to help make the trails better. Today we have had a light snow fall, and according to weather.com, we should be getting snow showers this evening and tomorrow morning, with snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches, with more chances for snow throughout the following week. So go and enjoy, and as always ride safe!
