Bride Jumps in the Lake

Last weeks bride jumped into Lt. St. Germain Lake after her wedding. Family and friends watched as she ran down the dock and into the lake. The wedding was held in the Bear's Den at Black Bear Lodge. The groom rowed over to meet her after her big splash and gave her a big kiss, the wedding guests will have great memories!

Weekend Weddings

We had two weddings at the Black Bear Lodge this past weekend. Congratulations to: Liz (Gallagher) & Shawn Henby our Saturday wedding and to: Misty (Fraser) & David Deal our Sunday wedding. Many of their family and friends commented as they checked out today, what a great time they had at the resort and wish they had more time to enjoy the lake and grounds.

Think of us for your wedding or tell a friend. We are a great destination, which your guests can drive to and have a mini vacation themselves. Our on-site wedding coordinator can help you with all the details, to make your wedding a day to remember!

Weddings

We have two more weddings this weekend, one on Friday and one on Sat. What a wonderful way to share your wedding with family and friends. They can relax in a cabin or lodge home till the wedding and play on Lt. St. Germain Lake in between the wedding activities. If you know of someone getting married, tell them about the Black Bear Lodge, in St. Germain, WI!

Hummingbirds

The Ruby-throated Hummingbirds are stocking up on as much nectar as they can right now, for their long journey across the Gulf of Mexico. It is amazing how this tiny bird can fly that far! Experts expect populations of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, as well as other migratory birds, to be affected by the spill. We hope your family sees the birds feeding and can enjoy them around Lt. St. Germain Lake.

Wedding Update

The wedding tent is up at Black Bear Lodge, for the 220 guests, and goodie bags are waiting for family and friends. Guests who came early are out on pontoon boats and enjoying the resort. Tonight they are going to enjoy a Northwoods "Fish Fry" at the Bear's Den Bar & Grill on-site. What a great place to have your wedding and let your guests celebrate this event with you! Maggie & Joe the Bride & Groom are going to jump off the dock and "trash the dress" after the wedding, be sure to look for photos next week!

Wedding Time

We are very excited for our up coming wedding this weekend. It is going to be a large tent wedding. The Bride and Groom Maggie and Joe have given us permission to publish their photos after the wedding, so be sure to check back in to view. The Black Bear Lodge on Lt. St. Germain Lake in St. Germain, WI is a great place to get married and have the whole family come and enjoy the resort and area. If you are already married, come and celebrate a second honeymoon!

Spring, Fall, or Winter are beautiful in the Northwoods and make a wonderful setting for you wedding. We do intimate weddings in the Bear's Den Restaurant to larger tent weddings. We also have a wedding coordinator to help you with all your plans. Your guests can lodge with us and enjoy all the amenities we have to offer during their stay.

"Hi Everyone, We would like to thank you all again for making our honeymoon memorable, relaxing, and somewhere special. We really had a great time and have been telling everyone about it. We took lots of pictures and would like to share two of our favorites with you. The first is at sunset, with us "smootching" in silhouette. The second is taken at sunrise the next morning as Shane motored out to a new fishing spot in his hunt for muskie!
