Over the past few days we've accumulated 2-3 inches of snow, but that won't be all. It has been snowing all day and weather reports indicate we will receive scattered snow showers through the week. Also, temperatures are dropping. We do not expect to have above freezing weather through the month of January.
Currently the trails are rideable. However, until we receive more good snow they are not quite groomable. Hopefully with snow on the way the trails will quickly become good. We can't wait to see more snomobilers!
Just a reminder, the Eagle River Snomobile Derby and the Kitty Catt World Championships both start this upcoming weekend. We look forward to seeing all of the racers and fans. It will definitely be a weekend to remember!
