Cold Weekend; Warm Forecast

Here's our north point where one of our campfire areas is located (near the lighthouse). If the sun does it's job, we'll be installing those piers in a few short weeks. The fishing opener is Saturday, May 3rd, and while we have ice on the lake at least two feet thick right now, it is likely we'll have ice-out just in time...

More and more late season snow has accummulated by our lodge homes...

This scene is at Lost Creek, near where I grew up north of St. Germain along Highway 155...

The forecast is calling for warm temps almost 50 degrees today and over 60 tomorrow. We have clear skies and welcome the sunshine to expedite the thaw! Our maintenance crew is anxiously awaiting the snow melt so they can get to spring clean-up outside. For now, they are doing preventive maintenance checks in cottages at our mini-resorts (Bayview Resort and Cedaroma Lodge). -- Diane
